Beef Teriyaki

Beef Teriyaki

 

Ingredients for one serving:

  • 100g Topside of Beef sliced thinly
  • 2 dsp Teriyaki marinade sauce in jar
  • 50g Chinese Noodles
  • 25g Spring Onions cut into thin strips
  • 5g Ginger
  • 1 clove Garlic
  • 2 tsp Soy Sauce

Method

  1. Slice topside of beef thinly and leave in teriyaki marinade for 2-3 hours in the fridge, or overnight. (Teriyaki is made from 50ml Mirin and 50ml soy sauce)
  2. Place noodles in a bowl and tip over boiling water. When soft, drain off and reserve.
  3. Stir Fry noodles in a wok or large frying pan with oil and butter. Add garlic, ginger, spring onions and a little soy sauce to misten, arrange noodles on plate.
  4. Fry beef in a very hot pan with oil and butter. Arrange beef on top of noodles, beef should be served underdone.
