Sticky gammon steaks

Serves 2
- 2 gammon steaks
- 1 tsp Chinese five-spice powder
- olive oil
- 1 red chilli , finely chopped
- 1 orange , zested and juiced
- 2 tbsp clear honey
- 1 tsp soy sauce
Method
- Sprinkle the five-spice powder over the gammon steaks. Heat 2 tbsp oil in a large frying pan and cook over a high heat for 2 minutes until the edges are tinged brown.
- Add the chilli, orange zest and juice, honey and soy sauce and simmer rapidly until the sauce is sticky and the gammon is glazed and golden with almost burnt edges.
- Serve immediately with steamed greens and rice, and with any pan juices poured over.
