Granddads Recipe Pork and Sage Sausage
Our Legendary recipe first made by our Granddad, Joseph Christmas Rook, from an original recipe book dated 1912. Made using selected English Pork, the Sage adds another dimension to our National Championship winning Sausage. A proper all-rounder, fantastic as cocktails, sausage meat or a chipolata wrapped in Bacon for Christmas dinner. As a mainstay of any BBQ. A highlight of any cooked Breakfast. Magical in a Sausage sandwich with your favourite sauce.
Magnificent in a Hot Dog and an amazing winter warmer in a Casserole.
Made with selected English Pork, this Pork Sausage uses a subtle hint of Mace to help highlight the Meat flavour. Very similar in texture to our Granddads recipe sausage, so great in all the same dishes set out above, but without the herb flavour.
Selected British Beef is complimented by a background flavour of Mace, Ginger and Black Pepper to make sure that the Beef flavour is not masked. A firmer texture than our Pork sausages, they are superb with a rich mash and gravy or in a Casserole, or in a Hot Dog.
Hot and Spicy Pork Sausage
A combination of ingredients are used to excite your taste buds. A blend of Chilli’s, Garlic, Nutmeg, Peppers and a touch of Tabasco sauce help to make sure this sausage is truly Hot and Spicy. A favourite for those that like strong flavours in their BBQ Sausage.
Caribbean Pork Sausage
A little taste of the Caribbean.Nutmeg and Garlic combined with herbs gives a hot but very tasty Sausage. This sausage has also won us many Gold awards, and a third place Nationally. One of our must have’s on our own BBQ’s at Home.
Pork and Leek Sausage
This Classic flavoured Sausage has A background of Nutmeg and Onion added to the generous amount of Leek makes a very flavoursome Sausage. A favourite with Mashed Potato and gravy.
Pork, Sweet Chilli and Mango
This is our most recent success story, gaining a third place Nationally. The sweetness of the sweet chilli sauce
and Mango pieces makes this unusual sausage bristle with flavour. A BBQ must or just by itself.

As we don’t want to lose the meat flavours, we just add a few savoury herbs and light seasoning just lift the flavour profile gently. The Venison is usually locally sourced but cannot be for twelve months of the year. These sausages go well with a hearty red wine sauce mashed potato and a few caramelised vegetables.
Merguez Lamb Sausage
North African flavours,Cumin,Fennel and Garlic are added to selected Lamb and filled into chipolata sized natural skins. A very Spicy and Intense flavour, these sausages are always a highlight on a BBQ. Another favourite is in a wrap with some sliced red onion, shredded iceberg lettuce and a spoonful of natural yoghurt
Chorizo Pork Sausage
This is an English version of Chorizo sausage. Chilli, pepper and Cayenne lift the flavour to the level of the Spanish Classic. However it is not supposed to be similar in any other way. This sausage is great on a BBQ. Also its strong flavours hold up well in casseroles.
Thai Green Curry Pork Sausage
A taste of Asia. This is another multi-award winning sausage from our range. Lemon Grass, Coriander, Ginger, Coconut and Chilli are combined to create this very fragrant Pork Sausage A BBQ must for a really different flavour dimension that will certainly get your guests talking.
Pork, Caramelised Red Onion and Garlic
This is a very flavoursome sausage, best by itself, or on the BBQ, but versatile enough for casseroles and Winter warming dishes.
Chilli Beef Sausage
A combination of Mace,Ginger,Black Pepper,Cayenne,Paprika and Red Chilli that gives this Beef sausage a real kick.
Best on a BBQ or in a Hot Dog.
Lincolnshire Pork Sausage
We have many multi BPEX Gold award winning sausages. And here’s another! Selected Pork with Corriander,Nutmeg,Sage and Pepper creates this timeless classic Sausage. This is fairly similar to our famous Granddads recipe sausage, so can be used in the same variety of ways.
Gluten Free Sausage
Very similar to our Granddads recipe sausage, except that there is no Gluten in the Recipe what so ever. Great for Coeliac’s, but also great for anyone else wishing to follow a calorie controlled diet, and can be used in the same way as our Granddads recipe sausages.
Cumberland Pork Sausage
Yet another Multi Gold Award winning Sausage. A course minced selected Pork and a little more pepper than other sausages, gives this regional favourite its unique texture and flavour. Another great winter warmer, by itself, in a Casserole, with Chips or Mashed Potato.
Pork & Chives Sausage
Made with selected English Pork, this Sausage uses the subtlety of chives to give a fresh and aromatic flavour. Fantastic on the BBQ. But versatile enough for any dish you wish.
Pork & Garlic Sausage
This is another Classic flavour combination. Our preference is for BBQ or on its own. But, many love this in a casserole or any cold weather favourite dish.
