This recipe from the Hairy Bikers is brilliant. Yes there is a lot to do with making the sauce and the marinade but boy is it worth it.

  • 1kg of diced lamb
  • 1 tbsp olive or vegetable oil
  • 100ml white wine
  • 1 tbsp cider vinegar
  • 1 onion, sliced
  • 4 fat garlic cloves, thinly sliced
  • 3 crumbled bay leaves
  • 4 cloves
  • ΒΌ tsp cinnamon
  • 300g ripe plums, stoned and diced
  • 2 tbsp finely chopped coriander
  • 2 tbsp finely chopped dill
  • 200g soured cream
  • Handful of finely chopped dill
  • Handful of finely chopped coriander
  • 1 tsp cider vinegar
  • Pinch of sugar
